One of the main health benefits of infrared saunas is that it can really help out a lot with arthritis, which we all know is definitely a very common disease within a lot older people’s muscles and joints. What studies have shown in recent years is that patients who actually have arthritis showed a significant reduction in the amount of pain they were experiencing after going into infrared saunas, and they said that the saunas helped them out with the stiffness in their muscles that was there before the sauna.
These studies did not reach any type of ‘statistical significance’ within the scientific community as of just now, so no scientist can definitively say that infrared saunas will help treat arthritis, but of course from recent studies we have seen that is tending to go that way. So you heard it from us first! If you have arthritis infrared saunas may really help you out with the pain and stiffness that you are experiencing, but don’t get mad at us if you get radiation poisoning or something like that! Just kidding, you’ll be fine.
Another really huge part of what makes infrared saunas so cool in terms of the health benefits that they can offer is that there is some serious toxins that can come out of the body when you are in an infrared sauna, and it’s kind of like those footbath destocks machines that suck all the toxins out of your feet in a warm pool of water, but it’s obviously very different because you are just sitting in a sauna not a footbath, but both ways are still good for toxins. What’s definitely cool about saunas in general is that they are super hot, and because they are super hot you are going to accumulate a really healthy sweat composition which can help get all of the bad gunky junk that is built up in your body and help alleviate you of those gross materials that tend to get in all of us from time to time.
Another really healthy purpose for infrared saunas is obviously that they can help you with weight loss. This might not necessarily be unique to infrared saunas but it is definitely something that everyone should take into consideration while getting into a sauna because they do help you lose a little bit of weight, and all you are really doing is relaxing and sweating profusely. Of course this is pretty cool and a healthy thing to do, but just be careful how much of other people’s sweat you surround yourself with, because you never know when they’ll have some super gnarly sweat composition!
But get out there and start looking for a new way to do saunas, and that is through infrared saunas.
